What You Are Actually Downloading
There is no separate Stockton APK file. Worth clearing that up early, because search results can make it look like there is one. The Stockton venue sits inside the wider Grosvenor Casinos network, so the mobile products are shared across the UK brand - same apps, same account details, same wallet.
Under the developer name GROSVENOR CASINOS LIMITED on Google Play there are three different apps:
- Grosvenor Casino Games and Slots - slots, live casino tables and sports betting in a single app
- Grosvenor Live Casino - focused on live dealer games with HD video streams
- Grosvenor Poker Live - poker schedules, cash game info and a venue finder
All three are available on both Android and iOS. On Android you either use Google Play or download directly from grosvenorcasinos.com/mobile. In Google Play the publisher appears as GROSVENOR CASINOS LIMITED, with a registered address at Tor, Saint-Cloud Way, Maidenhead, SL6 8BN.
Licences, Restrictions and Legal Context
Grosvenor Casinos operates under licences from the UK Gambling Commission. The online casino and live casino products are regulated under account number 57924. Physical venues, including Grosvenor Casino Stockton, run on separate land-based casino licences with IDs 614, 33465, and 34161. For online activity there is also licensing from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission under RGL 133 and RGL 134.
This has some direct consequences for how the apps work. Age checks are compulsory: play is restricted to customers 18 or over. UKGC rules require a set of responsible gambling tools as standard - deposit limits, time limits, self-exclusion options and support for GamStop. The software is geofenced for Great Britain, so access from outside the licensed area can be limited, unstable or blocked outright.
Real money gambling always carries the risk of losing funds. No result is guaranteed, and previous wins or losses do not predict what happens next. Support is available through the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, with further information at begambleaware.org.
Getting the APK on an Android Device
Sometimes Google Play places regional controls on gambling apps. If that happens and the Grosvenor app does not show for your account, the official website offers a direct APK download instead - it is the same build, just delivered without going through the store.
The outline below uses Grosvenor Casino Games and Slots as the example, but Grosvenor Live Casino and Grosvenor Poker Live follow the same pattern.
- Open a browser on your Android phone and go to grosvenorcasinos.com/mobile.
- Scroll until you see the Android option for the product you need.
- Before tapping download, go into Settings, then Security or Privacy, and switch on “Install unknown apps” (or similar wording) for that browser.
- Go back to the browser, tap the download control and wait until the APK is saved to your Downloads folder.
- Use a file manager to open the Downloads folder, then tap on the APK file.
- When Android shows the installation prompt, confirm it.
- After the install finishes, open the app, accept the terms and conditions, then either log in or create a new account.
The short safety rule matters: only download from grosvenorcasinos.com or directly from Google Play. Using other sources looks convenient but it often is not worth the risk.
